🔥 How to Press DTF Transfers with a Cricut Easy Press

Ink Rush Transfers – EasyPress Pressing Guide

Cricut EasyPress machines can be used for DTF transfers with proper technique and consistent pressure. Follow the steps below for best results.


STEP 1: Initial Press

  • Temperature: 300°F

  • Time: 10–15 seconds

  • Pressure: Firm, even manual pressure

Press straight down. Do not move the EasyPress during pressing.


STEP 2: Peel

  • Peel Type: Cold or warm peel

  • Slowly remove the PET film from the transfer.


STEP 3: Second Press (Finish Press)

Cover the design with:

  • Teflon sheet → for a shiny finish

  • Parchment paper → for a matte finish

  • Temperature: 300°F

  • Time: 7–10 seconds

  • Pressure: Firm, even pressure

⚠️ Important EasyPress Notes

  • Apply consistent downward pressure across the entire design.

  • Avoid pressing over zippers, seams, buttons, pockets, or collars.

  • Uneven pressure may cause incomplete adhesion—press in sections if needed for larger designs.


đź‘• Polyester & Blended Fabrics

Polyester and blends absorb heat faster. If needed:

  • Lower temperature: 250–280°F

  • Press time: 3–5 seconds

  • Always test before full production.
