EasyPress DTF Transfers with Confidence
Cricut EasyPress machines can be used for DTF transfers with proper technique, steady downward pressure, and a firm pressing surface.
Follow the steps below for best results, and always test first because every EasyPress model, surface, and pressure application can vary.
Recommended EasyPress Settings
Use these as general starting settings for most standard DTF transfer applications.

Use firm, even manual pressure and press straight down. Do not slide or move the EasyPress during pressing.

Peel
Slowly remove the PET film from the transfer using the correct peel timing for your transfer finish.
- Peel type: Cold or warm peel
- Peel slowly from one corner
- If any area lifts, stop and repress before fully peeling

Second Press
Cover the design and press again to finish the surface, improve adhesion, and help lock in durability.
- Temperature: 300°F
- Time: 7–10 seconds
- Pressure: Firm, even pressure
- Teflon sheet for shiny finish
- Parchment paper for matte finish

Important EasyPress Notes
EasyPress machines require more manual pressure control than a commercial heat press. Use these notes to avoid incomplete adhesion.
Manual Pressure Matters
Apply consistent downward pressure across the entire design. Uneven pressure may cause incomplete adhesion.
- Press straight down without sliding.
- Use a firm, heat-safe pressing surface.
- Press in sections if needed for larger designs.
- Avoid pressing over zippers, seams, buttons, pockets, collars, or thick garment areas.
Polyester & Blended Fabrics
Polyester and blends absorb heat faster. If needed, lower your temperature and reduce press time to protect the garment.

Press Time3–5 sec
Always test before full production, especially on polyester, performance wear, tri-blends, and heat-sensitive garments.
