🎨 Art & File Requirements for DTF Transfers

Ink Rush Transfers – Artwork Guidelines

To ensure the highest print quality and fastest production times, all custom DTF transfer artwork must meet the requirements below. Files that do not meet these standards may be delayed or canceled.

📁 Accepted File Types

We accept the following file formats:

  • .AI

  • .PDF

  • .PSD

  • .PNG

  • .TIF

  • .JPG

🖨️ File Quality & Resolution

  • Accepted resolution: 150–900 DPI

  • Higher resolution = better print clarity

  • Low-resolution or pixelated artwork may result in poor print quality

📐 Artwork Size Requirements

  • Maximum width: 22 inches

  • Length: Select your desired length at checkout

  • IMPORTANT:
    👉 Whatever size you upload is what will be printed
    👉 We do NOT resize artwork

Please clearly indicate your final image dimensions before uploading.

🎨 Color Mode & Conversion

  • All artwork must be in CMYK color mode

  • If RGB files are submitted, they will be automatically converted to CMYK

  • Color shifts may occur during conversion

🚫 Ink Rush Transfers is not responsible for color or tone differences caused by color mode conversion

  • Spot color artwork will also be converted to CMYK

🚫 Effects & Backgrounds

  • Remove all shadows, gradients, and glow effects
    These effects do not print as they appear on screen.

  • Remove all backgrounds if transparency is required

⚠️ We do NOT manually review or edit files
Whatever file is submitted will be printed exactly as received.

If your file includes a background, the background WILL print.

✏️ Line & Spacing Requirements

To ensure proper adhesion and durability:

  • Minimum positive space: 2 pts

  • Minimum negative space: 2 pts

  • Outline thickness: 2 pts

Thin lines or tight spacing may result in print failure.
